About

Laying out by day, serving the local catch by night I grew up on the beaches and restaurants in Cape May, NJ. Surrounded by natural beauty adorned by the old Victorian B&B’s I was transfixed by treasures washed ashore and the hand done gingerbread decorating each house. Unsure what to do with my own life until one day something very shiny caught my eye.

Initiated into the jewelry world via antique diamonds and rings. Most memorably the day a couple came in looking for an engagement ring. As the ring passed over the counter, the proposal happened right there! Gushing and popping champagne, this was forever. Like a grain of sand turned to pearl, Tf slowly began to grow.

From floating to fully committed I went up stream to NYC’s diamond district to learn from the best of the best. From sales jobs to production bench gigs, and many morning runs to the district. I came to understand what I love most are the stories behind our rings.

Today Tf aims to weave this love into each ring we cast. To mark your moment. Thank you.

Best Wishes,

Sarah

A note from the Jeweler…

Each time a ring is sold you support my dream and the many jewelers I get to work with. I love this industry so much. As it grows so do I. We wish to always evolve.

I source from stone dealer who are expanding ways to increase our humanity back into mining and manufacturing, something our industry (and many) is not known for-yet.

Using recycled metals, fairmined gold, and stones with increased traceability and transparency are my material goals as I grow. I also like to keep my local relationships alive with the New York City Diamond District and Jewelers Row in Philadelphia jewelry communities for casting, repair, chain, tools, and sourcing.

Its progress not perfection. As Tf and I learn we promise to hold ourselves both as a human and business, accountable making our best educated decisions to leave the world better than we found it. With respect and love for our shared Pale Blue Dot.

This is our deepest hope and service toward integrity.

Thank you!

FAQs

  • Thank you for your interest in our work we look forward to collaborating!

When you submit your custom form we will send you more details for your specific project and our custom terms.

After that, we begin by gathering key details for designing and your shipping info.

We require a $200 design fee to start your project. This includes your intial design renderings and edits you’d like to make to get to your final design for production.

Once you approve the design we will send you a deposit, half the total price, to begin production. Typically this takes 6-8 weeks.

Once your jewelry is finished we send photos and the final payment invoice, the last half of the total cost. We will confirm your address. Then ship once payment is received. Your signature is required for shipping.

The whole process can take up to 8-12 weeks depending on response time and any additional sourcing that needs to be done.

    We do not accept cash.

For questions or inquiries please email us at info@threefoldrings.com

    Thank you!

  • We typically quote 8- 12 weeks depending on how long it takes to reach a final design and find your desired stones if required for the ring. If you need a rush order please let us know in the initial submission form.

  • A local jeweler is a great way to simply pop in and have your finger size measure.

We can also mail you a ring sizer just email us at info@threefoldrings.com . If you are placing an order for a band 6mm please specify as we will need to send you a larger ring sizer. We suggest sizing a quarter size up for larger mm ring bands.

Please know eternity bands with stones or detail all the way around the band are not resizeable and it is important to get the size right before designing.

Also, finger sizes fluctuate with the temperature. In the summer your fingers may swell up a size. Or if you are ordering a ring to stack on top of existing ring. You may want a slightly larger size to avoid discomfort. This is of course a personal preference.

With custom order we offer a complimentary resize upon request. Clients provide the shipping label with insurance back to our studio.

Please let us know if you have additional questions. Thank you!

  • None of our custom designs are refundable. However all rings come with a complimentary resize.

For rings we do reccomend taking them once a year to your local jewelers for inspection and cleaning as they are worn so often care is necessary.

  • We recommend insuring your jewelry with Jewelers Mutual. We are happy to provide an appraisal for a $150 fee.

  • Our fav! We have our curated guide to Cape May for your stay.

Email info@threefoldrings.com for Tf’s list of recommendations of vendors, restaurants, stays, and more.

    Cheers!
