Spiral Tide. Behind the Photoshoot.
The Spiral Tide drop was the result of me laying pretty much face down in the sand after my existential slate got cleared last summer. I needed it. So after a break up, a move, getting ghosted, and leaving what would be my last bench job for someone else’s business - I took the rest of last summer off and sat very still, relatively. Unexpectedly my custom business began grow.
By the fall I had absorbed enough vitamin D to peel myself off the sand and begin again. I made the B&B Ring samples and Spiral Tide in silver. To my surprise this lined up with a few of my favorite collaborators for this photoshoot. Together we gathered on my windy November birthday at the beach to style flowers and friends in the new collections. Here are some behind the scene shots and a few of the finished results. Thank you to this crew of women who really turned by year around and made this way better than I ever would alone. See the ‘Vibe’ page for the finished lookbook!
